Home of the famous James Beard, a pioneer of the gourmet American food scene, Oregon is known across the nation for its extraordinary cuisine. 2016 will welcome over 10 restaurants, 5 food carts, and the Oregon Bounty Chefs Table where a variety of local chefs will prepare delectable items using Oregon grown products.

For those who enjoy a little something sweet after something savory, there will be dessert purveyors, selling their delectable desserts to round off your palate.  And to wash it all down, there will be more than 20 Pacific Northwest wineries, craft breweries, distilleries, cideries and even premium brewed saké to quench your thirst all weekend.

Food Tastes Better Here!

Our theme this year is Celebrating Oregon’s Bounty and in this regard, Oregon has much to boast about. Of course we will have an assortment of savory and sweet food offerings to satisfy your palate with our wide array of restaurants, food carts, dessert purveyors and more than 20 flavors or Oregon craft beer and wine. Food prices vary from vendor to vendor.  Price range for restaurants, food carts and dessert vendors are from $2-$9 per item.

The Bite is excited to welcome back the Oregon Bounty Chef's Table, where we're partnering with eight different Oregon Agricultural Commissions who will be featuring a variety of locally grown and produced products. The various Commissions will be joining forces with Pro Chef's Oregon a non-profit chapter of the American Culinary Federation comprised of chefs, and students dedicated to the profession of food preparation. Collectively, they will be preparing some delicious bites featuring Oregon seafood, beef, blackberries & raspberries, blueberries, cherries, potatoes, and dairy to name a few.

Come help us celebrate and enjoy some of Oregon’s magnificent culinary bounty! Renown as Oregon’s premier culinary festival, this three-day event features an abundance of mouth watering menu items offered by some of Oregon’s culinary finest. Whether it’s sampling a multitude of small plates or enjoying a meal sized portion, the choices are varied, delicious and plentiful!

And perhaps the best part is that the Bite of Oregon is a fundraiser for Special Olympics Oregon. With 10,000 participants, Special Olympics Oregon offers 40 Olympic-type sports during their summer and winter state games.

You don’t want to miss this!
